From CNETTV.com: Add search to your website
If you have a website, adding a search box (one from Google, at that) to your site could be a really useful tool. Here’s how.

From CNETTV.com: Search your desktop with 2 free programs
Sometimes there can be so many files on your desktop, you have no way of organizing them. This video shows you how.

Michael Jackson’s This Is It (Trailer)
Guess what Sony decided to make? A Michael Jackson concert movie. I kinda knew that this was coming from a news report saying that they were going to make a film about MJ in the near future, but I thought that it was going to be about his life and not just a concert. I’d rather see a movie about MJ’s life than a concert. Anyway, the catch for Michael Jackson’s This Is It is that it runs for only 2 weeks, which is why the studio is telling you to get the tickets NOW! But what happens after the 2 weeks are up? Users “Special-K” and “dissdigg” might know.
“Huh? 2 weeks only? Yeah Right, More like as long as it sells.” –“Special-K”
“2 weeks only and then straight to dvd!” –“dissdigg”
UPDATE: Wikipedia says that the DVD version will be released possibly by the end of 2009, with a DVD or Blu-Ray version of the film, along with a second DVD/Blu-Ray disc with over 2 hours of Jackson rehearsal and performance footage.
I remember hearing about an MJ movie possibly in 3D. Is this it but they just decided to call off the whole 3d thing? UPDATE 2: Oh, it is going to be 3d after all. Wikipedia says that the movie will include “3-D sequences originally filmed as part of the concert experience”.
Tickets for the movie go on sale September 27th, and the movie comes out on October 28th, about a month later.
Planet 51 (Trailer)
The inhabitants of Planet 51 live happy lives and are carefree. They have no worries at all, but one day, something strange comes down from the sky. (No, not food.) A shadow is cast on the ground, and it slowly grows bigger…and bigger…until a giant metal…thing takes its place. Out steps something even more scarier to the citizens. It is unfamiliar to them. They don’t know what it is, or what it will do to them. It’s….

…a human!
The movie, which is a family comedy, comes out in November.
Everybody’s Fine (Trailer)
In Everybody’s Fine, a man discovers that his relatives, who usually come to his house for the holidays, are canceling and won’t tell him why. He decides to surprise them by visiting their houses. The movie comes out in December.
I Can Has Cheezburger? and more
I Can Has Cheezburger and its other sites only have one simple aim: to make you laugh. I Can Has Cheezburger is basically a collection of kitten pictures with comedic captions written in by ordinary people. (You can make one too.) Other websites include dog pictures, people that look like other people, comedic news/sports commentary, and more.
http://www.icanhascheezburger.com/ You can access all their other sites from there.
I Can Has Cheezburger and the dog pictures site I Has A Hotdog are okay, but watch out for some questionable content on their sister sites.

You’ve heard of people hacking computers and websites, but in this video, the host shows off some elevator hacks that you probably shouldn’t try, because, as he says, you could break the elevator or get in trouble. Enjoy!

A Christmas Carol (Trailer)
Here’s the trailer for Disney’s reworking of A Christmas Carol. In this film, Jim Carrey plays Ebenezer Scrooge, and you know how he is at Christmastime. He is soon visited by three ghosts who show him his past, present, and future, and he realizes that he must correct things before it is too late. The movie comes out on November 6th.
Masher
I found this on MakeUseOf.com. Masher is a website that lets you create little photo slideshows using pictures, videos, music, and more. You have to sign up to be able to use it; it’s free, though. All you really have to do is drag your photos and media onto the timeline, and when you’re finished, you get to pick special effects and backgrounds. There’s a full walkthrough over at www.tinyurl.com/Mashertips. Don’t get this confused with a downloadable program called “Masher 1.0001“, which gives you 20 seconds to click your mouse and tells you how many times you clicked it. That’s pretty much it. It also made the Worst Downloads list over at http://www.cnettv.com/. This service looks a lot more useful.
CNET Video: doubleTwist
If you don’t have an iPod, but you have an MP3 player and you want to sync it to iTunes, there is a way. A CNET editor shows you how in this video.
